Description
When I was a young commercial illustrator, Andrew Wyeth was one of my heros. His use of whites, browns, and grays inspired me to photograph these mushrooms on a walk under an avocado grove.
Andrew Wyeth once said "I love to study the many things that grow below the cornstalks, and bring them back to the studio to study the color. If one could only catch the true color of nature. The thought of it drives me mad".

Great capture of Lepolitas among mulch! this is awesome ;)
James Temple replied:
Thank you Alexandria, I didn't know what kind of mushroom this was. I looked up "Lepolitas" but all I could find was "Lepiota", a lethally poisonous species according to Wikipedia. They were quite beautiful however, almost 10 inches across.
