James yum, so much info on Hawaiian foods, what is Ogo??
James Temple replied:
Aloha Pat, "ogo" is a variety of seaweed that grows off the shores of Moloka'i. It is one of the most popular varieties of seaweed enjoyed by Hawaii, and Asian countries like Japan. In this recipe it is pickled with the sweet Maui onions. Yum is right!
