Description
Stephanotis flowers have long been treasured for their beauty and sweet scent. The tropical twining vine, with its dark shiny foliage and snowy flowers, are a traditional element in wedding bouquets. Stephanotis grows quite well here in Hawaii, year round, where it enjoys sufficient rain, high humidity, and warm winters. I grew many of these plants from seed a few years ago. Now I enjoy watching them climb a wire fence all around my house here on the Hawaiian Island of Moloka'i.

Always a favorite. I used to have those vines as well, and I miss them so much. A beautiful and special flower. Featured in Hawaiiana.

Mahalo Jane, I found out last year that the axis deer here on Molokai like to snack on these vines.
