Artist's Description
The seeds of summer in my yard are from the fragrant stephanotis vine. The flowers are waxy, star-shaped and highly scented, about 1 inch wide, in clusters and are produced in summer. The blooms are a favourite in weddings, used in bridal bouquets, corsages and decorations.
Seeds are produced in a 5-inch pod somewhat resembling a mango. Seeds are fully mature in approximately twelve months regardless of whether or not the pod has changed color or split open. About James Temple
I've lived in Hawaii since 2002, 1200 feet above sea level, on the small rural island of Moloka'i. It is very quiet here, with only about 7,400 residents. Since then I designed and built a house, worked in local restaurants, self-published three cookbooks, and took up photography as a hobby. Now retired, I spend most of my time developing recipes and photographing them, plus researching and writing...
