Description
Family: Crassulaceae, Genus Kalanchoe, Species: thyrsiflora. These large succulents grow here on Molokai in the dryer areas. The leaves get up to 10 inches across and 1/2 inch thick with vibrant green and yellow sides with red edges. I have heard this plant called 'red lips' as the edges take on a red color.
