Description
The Hong Kong Orchid Tree is staggeringly beautiful when in bloom and is considered by some as the most beautiful tree in the world. It has large deep-pink flowers that appear on Molokai from January to May. The tree displays slightly fragrant orchid-like blooms. The flower was adopted as the emblem of Hong Kong in 1965. This image is a digital watercolor made from one of my photographs here on FAA.
