Description
This is my photograph of the beautiful bark of a lemon-scented gum tree.
I have several of these huge trees growing in my yard, here in Hawaii, that are over 100 feet tall. Various parts of the lemon-scented gum, such as the bark, leaves and wood have a useful purpose. The leaves emit a lemon-scented citronella that is commonly used in perfumery and as an essential oil. This makes my whole yard smell like paradise.
