The Bird-of-paradise is a native of South Africa but grows all over Hawaii. The plant derives its common name from the unique flower it bears, which resembles a brightly colored bird in flight.
This is a digital watercolor made from my photograph on FAA called "Bird of Flight".

Love what you've accomplished here, James. I've always loved water color and it's amazing what software can do. And, though I'm a traditionalist it many things, I believe the use of these types of software are an art form, just like traditional painting. Cheers! L/F
